Castles of the Lucerne Seetal

The Lucerne Seetal, or lake valley, is home to three medieval castles: Heidegg Castle (first buildings date to the 13th century), Hallwyl Castle (late 12th century) and Lenzburg Castle (early 11th century). All three castles have been converted into museums and can be visited to gain an impression of the way of life of the lords of the castle over the centuries.
