Loy Kratong

Loy Krathong is a Thai tradition where people worship the goddess of water. How Thais celebrate this tradition depends on where they live. In the Northern region where I live, people will light candles and put them around their houses, release "Krathong" into the river and some would also light lanterns and release them into the sky.
