Fat Thursday

In Poland there is a tradition called tłusty czeartek (fat Thursday)It’s always on the last Thursday before the Ash Wednesday. On this day we eat at least one pączek(filled donut). It is believed that if you eat filled donuts on this day you will have success and good luck for the whole year. The most popular donuts are filled with rose jam, are glazed with sugar and have dried orange or rose petals sprinkled on top. But don’t worry, if this isn’t much to your liking, we have ton’s of other flavors:)
