The Renaissance Fair is probably one of my favorite celebrations in the US. Almost every state has it (or maybe every state does, without "almost") and it usually lasts for about two months. Some Renaissance Fairs try to be as authentic as possible and require historically accurate costumes, but most are fine with you wearing anything that looks somewhat Medieval, including fantasy costumes! After graduating from college in 2022 I was fortunate enough to move near a city with one of the biggest Renaissance Fairs in the country, and in 2023 I attended my very first one! The experience was surreal! If you are someone who enjoys history and / or fantasy, that is definitely a festival you want to attend! Unfortunately, I rarely take pictures and mostly record videos, so the pictures attached here are just screenshots of the videos and the quality may not be great.
