Christmas Traditions

Besides presents under the Christmas tree, Mum decorated our dining room table with sweets and treats after midnight mass while us children were fast asleep. Mum would also prepare the 35 pound turkey to get it into the oven in the early am before she and Dad put the presents under the tree. They barely got into bed when my brother and I woke at 4am to open the gifts.
