Holiday Folk Fair
Every year in the City of Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA, we host the Holiday Folk Fair. This fair is A wonderful celebration of the many nations of People living in and being a part of the Milwaukee community. Each celebrated nation Prepares and sells both popular and somewhat unknown foods enjoyed in their communities. They also sell goods identifying Their nations. The Holiday Folk Fair is Celebrated at our Wisconsin State Fair Park And takes place the third weekend in November. Some of the Countries represented Are China, Japan, Korea, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Scotland, Africa, Afghanistan, Morocco, France, Sweden, Dutch Indonesia, USA, and Countless others; far too many to mention. On Sunday the last day of the Fair Each Nation shows off their extreme Dance Routine prowess due only to their hundreds of hours of practice. The Gorgeous costumes they wear are representative of each home country. My Family have been visiting the Holiday Folk Fair since I was three years old. It has been one of my greatest learning experiences into people and countries around the world. Through these experiences I have been able to learn and pass on to my Children ( who are both adopted from China) that people the World over are basically the same. We are ALL PEOPLE.
