Berg, Erlangen

"Berg" translated means mountain and the tradition litterly takes place on a mountain near downtown. People dress up in traditional clothing and the first few days it's all about drinking, carrying a full bear crate and singing. There are also alot of drinking games but for those who don't like alcohol there's the option of trying gigantic pretzels, overpriced pizza and soft ice cream. There are carousels and different rides, it's simmeler to an October fest but it only takes place in erlangen in May.
