Düsseldorfer Old Town

Düsseldorfs old town is a district of the city right by the rhine. It is known as "the longest counter in the world" as there are over 250 bars and pubs to be found here! The total counter length of all bar counters combined would be the longest in the world. This part of the city is always bustling with life and usually the area where celebrations are held, such as open celebrations around carnival and the Japan day (annual celebration of Japanese and german friendship). This area is perfect for strolls and walks around the shops or along the rhine, as well as some ice cream or dinner in one of the many restaurants by the rhine esplanade :) good activity for a sunny day!
