Abitur (Highest form of highschool graduation)

You take final exams in multiple subjects (the exact number depends on your state) and need to study a lot to prepare for it! There's actually multiple 'levels' of highschool degrees in Germany, but the Abitur (often shortened to Abi) is the highest and most difficult one. Many students attempt it each year and sadly, quite a few typically don't make it. But once you have it, basically all doors for universities and work are wide open for you
