Gumbo in the Pot!

Where I am from, there is a traditional dish. That is the ultimate of ultimate cultural collision dishes. This dish is a combination of western European, African, Caribbean, Native American and Chinese influence. a lot of places claim they can make this dish like we can, but nobody can outdo the doer. Is a type of stew/soup. It has literally all types of seafood and different types of meat in it and it’s so rich and delicious that even now I miss this dish. I’m pescatarian now and they do have seafood versions of this, but I miss the way my mom makes this dish more than anything. The crazy part is no two Gumbos are alike, but you just know when it’s done right.
