Medicine Bag

A Medicine Bag is a small pouch worn by the Indigenous peoples of Northern America/Canada, each with their own meanings. There are four main medicines Indigenous folk put in said Medicine Bags; Tobacco, sage, cedar, and sweet grass. A personal Medicine Bag may also contains objects that symbolize personal wellbeing, and tribal identity. (The first two photos are of other Medicine Bangs, while the third is the one I made myself!)
