Back Beach, Taranaki

Back Beach is situated to the west of New Plymouth, Taranaki! It's a black sand beach and is very popular, especially over the summer months. The place is undeniably beautiful :) Sometimes, you'll find seals and penguins here! There are a few different ways to access the beach - one route is the sand dune. Back Beach is a nice place to just walk at, whether that be by yourself or with company - and in most area you can unleash your dog to run free!
