Vesak Festival

Vesak festival in in the month of May. On that day we celebrate 3 noble events in Lord Buddha's life. They're his birth, enlightenment and passing away . This is the most important festival in Buddhist world. We do a lot of meritorious acts on this day. We listen to the Buddhist sermons and visit the village temple to observe sill. We decorate our houses with colourful light bulbs and decorative vesak lanterns. Vesak pandols are displayed in public places. Free refreshment stalls are giving on this day.
