Life in Wisconsin, USA

The state of Wisconsin is in the Midwest Region of the United States. While people from other countries hear lots about New York, California, Florida, and Texas, you don't hear much about the Midwest! The Midwest is mainly farmland of some type. My state of Wisconsin is well known for cheese! Fans of our (American) Football team, the Green Bay Packers, are called cheeseheads and proudly wear foam cheese hats (See 2nd photo from google) and fried cheese curds is every Wisconsinite's favorite side dish! Another thing about small town Wisconsin culture is county fairs, which tend to be in the late summer each year. FFA (Future Farms of America) is a very popular club where I grew up! Members of the club learn about livestock and learn how to care for and show off livestock. A very interesting piece of Midwest culture! While Wisconsin might be a bit more boring than New York or Florida, we have some beautiful landscapes and it is absolutely gorgeous in the fall and spring seasons! The cost of living is also much lower than other states, and I think it was a perfect state to grow up in! While I cannot show every part of Wisconsin because all of the state is beautiful, I encourage you to google a little bit more about my home state!
