Martenitsa bracelet, symbolises spring

On March 1st everyones gives away a bracelet called a martenitsa. It's made out of red and white yarn, but could also have some green in it. It simbolises the beguining of spring. With them we wish each other health, luck and other wishes. It could also be in the form of two dolls - the white one being male named Pizho and the red one - female with the name Penda. We put them on a blooming tree or under a rock once we see a stork or a blooming tree.
