Shivratri worship with locals
In Hinduism the god of destruction lord Shiva is one of the most powerful god who protect, creates, transforms the universe and we celebrate his marriage with Parvati goddess which is the power of lord Shiva and we call goddess parvti the goddess of devotion, motherly love, care, and goddess of fertility she's aldo called the daughter of mountains. This is religious festival in india which is celebrated differently in different states and places of India . This festival val comes mostly in February or March for 2 Days which is confirmed by astrology or we can say we celebrate this according to the astrological analysis. In this festival we celebrate the shivratri with family till morning continuously we do fast for 2 days ( vraat) on this day we do worship after taking bath then from 5 at evening we start worship continue till morning but some people do worship at day according to their faith or schedule but the most important time is the 12 at midnight because this is the time of lord Shiva's wedding procession reaches Kailash mountains the home of lord Shiva and this this time lord Shiva will give you the vibes / feeling of his presence to you if you're worshiping with trust and goal with reach the lord Shiva . Then next morning we cook our traditional cuisine and dishes according to our custom then after making food we offer every single thing we cooked to load Shiva and his family then we distribute Prasad( food offered to god) to everyone and complete our fasting after eating this. In Hinduism the Shiva is present in Shiva Linga with his whole family so we specially worship the Shiva Linga with different offerings. In some states of India shivratri celebrated very grandly in which people of different states of India go there and celebrate with thousands and lacs of people together.
