Superclássico das Américas
The “Americas’ Super Classic”, following its English translation, is the football (or soccer) match played by the national teams of Brazil and Argentina, whether on the World Cup Qualifiers, Copa América, or whatever competition they play. It's the apex of the rivalry between these two countries, as both populations are insanely passionate about this sport. No matter how the current moment of the teams is, when this match happens, whoever wins it will make fun and jokes about the loser for a whole week or even a month. Indeed, the rivalry between the nations transcend the national teams, as we are equally or even more vibrant when a Brazilian club defeats an Argentine club or vice-versa in a Copa Libertadores or Copa Sudamericana match. Football moves our people and our culture so much that we are unable to exist without it.
