Elfstedentocht, Eleven cities tour.

Elfstedentocht is literally translated to 'eleven cities tour'. it's a dutch event that takes place when there is enough ice on the canals and rivers to go ice skating around almost the entire country. it goes through 11 cities and is almost 200 kilometres long. the last time we had strong enough ice to do this was 1997.
