The Procession of Silence is an Holy Week celebration that takes place in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and commemorates the passion and death of Christ. It is done on the night of Viernes Santo.Participants carry heavy wooden litters with images of the passion of Christ, while spectators watch in silence to watch the penitents pass by.
