Guy Fawkes Night

“Remember Remember the 5th of November” Every year in the UK we have a large bonfire and fireworks to commemorate the gunpowder plot. A man named Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the houses of parliament (our government building) traditionally we burn an effigy of him but in recent years it’s become more of a social occasion celebrating the autumn months and less of a political occasion. (i’ve attached some photos of some bonfires i’ve been to in past years!!)
