Bonfire Night

“Remember, remember the fifth of November. Gunpowder, treason and plot. I see no reason why gunpowder treason should ever be forgot”. - a poem we learn at school.Otherwise known as Guy Fawkes night is commemorated on the 5th November. People around the country celebrate it with bonfire parties and firework displays either in public parks or at home. The very first bonfire night was actually a warning rather than a celebration. British history is very interesting !!
