Waterfowl hunting is the hunting for ducks. This usually requires walking through reservoirs in camo waders to set up decoys, said decoys are man-made plastic figures that resemble all kinds of specific kinds of ducks. This will help bring them in as well as using an instrument called a "duck-call". In order to correctly use this instrument, there are certain breathing patterns and mouth movements that help to resemble a duck eating, its predatorial and warning calls... etc. After "executing" those steps, ha-ha, then we like to use the meat for certain things such as ground duck for burgers, or as of recent we have experimented with duck jerky. We purchased a dehydrator to help with an easier more efficient way of making the jerky. Waterfowl hunting is both a fun sport for my family but also another way to help feed our family.
