Because of my study I'm living in Nanking right now and find it a perfect place for living. The life here can be both quiet and full of "hustle and bustle". You can find old estates where seniors enjoy their retirement playing cards and chatting, where you can find the best duck in town in the bustling markets, where you can hardly see or hear anything at night and only the quiet darkness with permanent peace. On the other hand, Nanking has one of the busiest CBD in China, where luxury shops flourish and various exotic foods can be found. The city is also rich in historical heritages. It's one of the four ancient capitals of China. From the North and South Dynasties to the Republic of China, countless eras have left their traces here. The tombs of former emperors have become one of my favourite parks to visit. And autumn is the best season to visit, when Nanking will be painted in warm colors like orange and red with all the joy of nature and life.
