Scones with jam and clotted cream

The country is actually divided on the order to have toppings on top of the scones, which we usually have with tea in the afternoon. In the north the preference is cream then jam, but in the south (specifically Cornwall) it’s jam then cream.I personally like to do cream then jam because it means you get the sweetness of the jam first.
