Dashain celebration
tbh i still have no clue what the origin is of the celebration and im too lazy to google it lol. The whole family gathers and give out blessings and tikka the the younger once. for example i get blessings from my mom, dad but also my aunt, grandma grandpa etc. And my mom getts blessings from her parents, older siblings, her aunts etc. so we kneel and they give our blessings and then they do the tika, its like a sticky rice mixture with yoghurt, on our forehead and a bit on top of our head. and put some plants (no idea what theyre called in english) on our ear. after all that we get money muhahhahaah its like chinese new year, the youngsters get money from the elders. :) but beside that its really nice to have my family gathered like this since we dont celebrate christmas i always look forward for this <3
