One minute's silence

A one minute's silence is done twice a year on the 25th of April ANZAC day (Australian New Zealand Army Corps) and November 11th, which is done on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th year. When it's done on ANZAC day it happens at the dawn service (around 5am) and the day service (around 11am). The 'Last Post' is played on a trumpet before everyone stands for a one-minute silence, in which people are invited to reflect on the sacrifices and loss of Australian and New Zealand troops during WWI and WWII. Before this happens past soldiers lay a wreath made of rosemary and poppy's down on the ground to honour the soldiers past and present.
