National Trust - Ashridge Estate
The National Trust is all about keeping the UK's historic sites and natural landscapes in great shape for everyone to enjoy. They've been around since 1895 and take care of over 500 beautiful spots, from grand houses and gardens to rolling hills and meadows.Close to home, we've got Ashridge Estate. It's this amazing 5,000-acre estate with ancient woodlands, chalk downlands, and lush meadows. It's a haven for wildlife, featuring carpets of bluebells in spring, rare butterflies in summer, and fallow deer roaming around. The National Trust took over the Ashridge Estate in 1926 and manage the landscape as a working estate, continuing 3,000 years of tradition.
