Almond Blossom Season, California

I live in the valley of California, where most of the world’s almonds are grown. Naturally, I’m surrounded by a lot of almond orchards, and my elementary school was completely surrounded by them! In February, my town has an event called the “Almond Blossom Festival,” where we celebrate when the almond trees bloomed. They bloom during January and February, and it’s very beautiful seeing all the orchards turn white and pink!
