Long hallway in my school
My school in Ghent is situated on the historic Bijloke site, housed within a former hospital. In the past, the hospital's wards were deliberately spaced apart to help prevent the spread of viruses. These wards are now connected by an impressive hallway stretching nearly 300 meters, making it quite a walk from one end to the other. The entire Bijloke site is open to the public during the week to public, offering a fascinating place to explore. It features a museum, medieval buildings, an art school, a café, a concert hall and a library, providing a unique blend of culture, history, and creativity right between the heart and the train station of Ghent.
