Flying Kites
Growing up, in winter months, we used to sit in a mates' living rooms carefully crafting a kite from scratch. Plotting the lines on paper, measuring, and debating which shape the kite would be better to soar in the sky. Design, colour, anchor points, balance, angle, shape - you name it; we'd factored in all the variables. All this long before we knew the word "Geometry".We would go out and run around catching the thermals with our kites and forget time, and life itself.
