Anzac Day

In my country we have something called Anzac Day. It's a type of rememberance for the New Zealand and Australian soldiers that died during the Gallipoli campaign. On this day we wear flowers called, "Poppies" which have come to represent the rememberance of the soldiers we lost because those are the flowers that grew where they died. It's fairly common to go to a church service at dawn, and even more common to have a minute or two of silence sometime during the day to reflect on those lost in the war.
