Guy Fawkes Night

Guy Fawkes Night or Bonfire Night is celebrated every year on the fifth of November here in Britain to commerotate when Guy Fawkes attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament and kill King James I. We have huge bonfires all over the country and there are big firework displays throughout the night. Many people will also be carrying sparklers. It is just a night where everyone in the local community all comes together in one place to remember our country's history
