Porch Goose, Midwestern U.S

Porch Geese are cement or plastic geese (primarily plastic now) placed on porches as decoration and dressed in outfits. They are popular in the Midwestern U.S. but are found throughout the country. My grandparents are from the Midwest and brought the porch goose tradition to their home in Oregon (their goose is pictured below in the pink dress). I am interested in continuing the tradition of dressing a porch goose, but the cement geese can be pricey. Outfits are handmade, modified children’s clothes or purchased from specialty stores.
