Nyokum Festival

Nyokum is a pre-harvest festival celebrated annually in February by the Nyishi tribe (My tribe!) of Arunachal Pradesh. The term “Nyokum” combines “Nyok,” meaning land or earth, and “Kum,” signifying collectiveness or togetherness.
