Flag ceremony - every school

The Flag Ceremony in Indonesia is actually due to the influence of the Japanese Occupation era during WWII. They are taught by Japan how to channel their sense of nationalism by respecting the flag. And this ceremony continues to take place in schools, especially on Mondays every week, and national days. There are also schools that only sing the National Anthem while facing the flag, and they're did it every day (Monday-Friday) . The difference is that it is only in the morning before class (5-20mins), there is no need for a complete ceremony in the school field (40mins-1 Hour).
