Serra do Corvo Branco, Paraná

The mountain range gets its name from a bird of rare beauty, known as the King Vulture (Urubu-rei). This bird, with white plumage and some colorful details, was unfamiliar to local inhabitants and was mistakenly called a crow (corvo), leading to the name Corvo Branco (White Crow).
