Skiing in Slovenia
Close to Slovenia's main airport and only a 30-minute drive from beautiful Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, you can ski above the clouds at Krvavac. From the top (at 1965 m), where the highest chairlift reaches, you can see Triglav, the highest Slovenian peak, in the distance. After skiing, which ends at four o'clock, it's worth taking a short drive to the beautiful Slovenian coast, where the brave even in winter happily jump into the Adriatic Sea. From the Slovenian capital it is only half an hour to the Krvavec Ski Resort and only an hour-long drive to a lovely stroll and coffee by the sea.
