Martindale Hall - Australia, South Australia

Martindale Hall is a gorgeous old mansion located in the Mid North of South Australia. It was built in the last 1800s (around 1879) and was at some point in its legacy, a gift by some upper class guy to give to a woman for their engagement or wedding.When I was younger, I lived in the area, and one of my friends dad was the caretaker - we used to go all around the place, I didn't realise until I was much older that I was really lucky to do this - we got to go to no access areas, and didn't have to pay to visit!
