Foochow Red Wine

Traditionally, Foochow red wine is brewed by women past their menstrual cycle, and made with glutinous rice with red wine yeast. This wine is mainly used in cooking, personally I always have it with chicken soup and noodles on my birthday, sometimes as a sauce base when stir frying vegetables.
