Gooey Butter Cake, St. Louis

This is a dessert from my original hometown of St. Louis, located in the state of Missouri. Basically, it is a very sweet cake, made of flour, vanilla, powdered sugar and butter. It is ADDICTIVE. If you ask anybody outside of Missouri about this dish, they will probably not know anything about it. It was created by a German-American baker and it is one of my favorite desserts.
