Ao tac (the pink photo) and ao nhat binh (the orange photo) had been associated with the Nguyen dynasty of Vietnam, which was the origin of our modern ao dai (the red photo). Ao tac's were popular among peasants and nobilities ranging from the cost and quality of fabrics and colors while ao nhat binh's were only for noble and royal class.Nowadays, Vietnamese people, especially the young generation, is restoring and developing ancient clothes to enrich the national culture. Ao tac's and ao nhat binh's are emerging more and more in formal events, holidays and daily life along with modern ao dai's.
