Did you know that the coptic orthodox minority in Egypt are ethnically the closest to the ancient Egyptians, the coptic orthodox church is pretty much the only remaining establishment in Egypt that still uses the coptic language which is the ancient egyptian Demotic written into greek script with some letters added. Not just the language, the coptic orthordox community still keeps many ancient egyptian traditions, like blessing the river nile and ancient egyptian ryhms such as "golgotha" and others. Sadly due to internal hardships there are less Coptic othodox in egypt and a growing disapora...
