Karak chai translates to "strong tea" which is made using water, tea leaves extract and milk, other recipes use spices like saffron to add a different flavour to it. Usually the go-to caffeine beverage for most people here in South Asia and perhaps drank more than water, ideally described as a warm hug in a cup due to how often it is drank and needed. Most cafeterias here serve it, although one that is very much known in the UAE is Filli Cafe.
