Papua New Guinea is one of the most diversified country in the world (if not the most culturally diverse). We have more than 800 different local languages and over a thousand tribes. Each year, these diverse cultural groups come to celebrate together on our independence anniversary (16th September) in the capital city Port Moresby and also in other major urban areas around the country.
