King's Day (Koningsdag) is the Netherlands' giant, country-wide birthday party for the King, held April 27th, turning the whole country orange with massive street parties, flea markets (selling everything!), music, and celebrations of Dutch pride and unity, where everyone wears orange and enjoys outdoor festivals, music, and selling their own goods freely.
