Celebrating Halloween

No one does Halloween quite like the US. During the Halloween season, you’ll see Jack-o’-Lanterns on almost every front porch. Pumpkin carving, or making Jack-o’-Lanterns, is one of the United States’ absolute favorite Halloween activities. People also dress up in costumes, to go trick or treating on Oct 31, we go door to door and collect all kinds of sweets, now a days a lot of our campgrounds are filled for that date, and celebrate Halloween with kids and adults, we decorate golf carts and wear costumes, and drive around the camp ground to collect candy, and adult treats, like jello shots with alcohol in them!We also spend many hours decorating our houses, to make them as spooky as possible, lots of lights and decor. A lot of families have Halloween parties at their homes, which includes dressing in costumes, a bon fire, lots of food and cocktails! And last but not least we also have many Halloween parades, which include floats, dressing in costumes and we throw candy to people on the parade route. Children love collecting the treats.
