Festa de Santos Reis - Reisado

Especially at Brazil's Northeast, it is common to celebrate 6th January, the day on which it is believed the Three Wise Men met the Holy Family. People of all ages kept the tradition alive, preserving it inside the family, and when the day comes they go to streets dressed in special clothes very colorful and adorned, do dances and sing traditional songs and prayers to remember that day. It's a mix of popular devotion, ancient roots and family tradition.
