Music Sessions

Music is a big part of my heritage and culture. Being part Irish, folk music is very important, learning songs verbally and teaching them to other people. My dad has taught me many old and contemporary folk songs and has even written many of his own. Most Thursday nights my family attends a music session where anyone can bring an instrument and share music with one another. I have grown up going to these sessions and many of the people who attend are like family to me.
