Dallas college
My cultural keepsake is my college, Dallas College. It’s a big part of my daily life and shows what being a student in the U.S. is really like.Dallas College is super diverse. You see students from different backgrounds, ages, and cultures. Some just graduated high school, some are older and coming back to school, and some are working full-time while taking classes. That’s pretty normal here.Most days I just go to class, study in the library, and try to balance school with everything else. During finals week the campus gets busy, and everyone’s stressed but focused. Professors usually want students to participate and ask questions, which makes classes feel more interactive.
