Friday Night Art Walks
Every first Friday of the month, my neighborhood has an art walk. Artists, booksellers, farmers, etc set up booths all throughout the neighborhood and you go from booth to booth, popping into the local coffee shops/bars along the way for quick snacks and drinks. My favorite stand is the flower bar. A local farmer brings wildflowers they’ve grown and you build your own bouquet. This photo is from a bodega along the art walk that sells all kinds of homemade/homegrown foods, art, wines, flowers etc.
